Missions
Mission
To support the spread of the Gospel through individuals and organizations that exist in places Connections does not. We do this through partnerships in 4 spheres: LOCAL (around Johnstown/Milliken), REGIONAL (Colorado & neighboring states), NATIONAL (across the U.S.), and INTERNATIONAL (around the globe).
Vision
To become a church that ‘tithes’ a portion of our General Fund Contributions to Missions efforts through Missional Partners. We are currently at 6% of our General Fund dedicated to Missions (2025-2026)
Values
Spreading the Gospel
Providing the Connections family with opportunities for involvement in Missions through financial, prayer, relational, and hands-on support.
Emphasizing partnerships that develop ministry indigenously among the people being reached/discipled.
Emphasizing partnerships that elevate the family as the primary place of discipleship and parents/grandparents as the primary spiritual leaders.
Local
Weld RE-5J Mentoring program (no financial support required)
Mountain States Children’s Home, Berthoud, CO – extends Christian services to wounded children in an effort to meet their physical needs, heal their emotional hurts, challenge their minds, and teach them moral principles, in order to reach the goals of reuniting them with their families or preparing them for independence.
Regional
The Resource Center, Greeley – providing practical information, support, and resources to women and families experiencing an unexpected or unsupported pregnancy, empowering them to make informed decisions for themselves and their future.
Brett & Darci Hullah / UNC Challenge – Their mission is to help students at UNC come to know Jesus, learn to live like him, and change the world through him! This involves sharing the gospel with students, mentoring them, and fostering a community of believers that encourages one another in their faith, while also inviting nonbelievers into their community so they can meet Jesus.
Harvest Farm – a 100-acre farm and rehabilitation center where men in their New Life Program work toward breaking the cycles of addiction and homelessness through structured programs that provide stability, self-sufficiency, and hope.
National
Elk Mills Christian Church – a local church in the Tennessee Hill Country that was devastated by Hurricane Helene in 2024. While their stone church building stood, everything inside and outside was lost. We are proud to help them rebuild and continue to reach people in Tennessee.
International
Eric & Cait Pitts – CMF International – missionaries in Turkana, Kenya
